To celebrate 10 years of sponsoring emerging designers at London Fashion Week, Topshop have invited their NEWGEN alumni back to design a capsule T-shirt collection for centerpoint. The latest windows at the Flagship around the corner from our offices in Oxford Circus mark the occasion— complete with an exclusive film directed by Nick Knight, featuring Karlie Kloss.

During ouR time in the Czech Republic we visited the Pilser Urquell brewery and were taken on a fascinating tour. We learnt about the rich history of the beer, about the PU brand, how it is made and how it is packaged.
If you are ever in Pilsen, we would recommend a visit purely to drink the unfiltered, unpasturised beer underground in minus temperatures at the end of the tour.

Last night the signs of Fashion Week started to emerge all over central London. One event that I stumbled upon is the ÖÖ space on Berwick Street in the heart of Soho. ÖÖ [û:] evidently means ‘night’ in Estonian and showcases the work of three young designers with Nordic roots. Curated and organized by Keskula Network in collaboration with Embassy of Estonia, the dreamlike space showcases a new slow fashion platform 7SMIC by Marit Ilison, 003-unustamise project (‘the project of forgetting’) by menswear designer Magnus Lõppe and footwear from Kaspar Paas, currently a bespoke shoemaker at John Lobb. It features unconventional menswear and quirky footwear with a gentle flamboyance and clever tailoring.

It’s always great to see our trend predictions coming true, so when I read about Toronto’s new TA-ZE Premium Olive Oil store, it just confirmed our thoughts.
Designed by the guys behind WHotels, it looks more like a high end boutique or beauty store than deli. More…

We don’t think so, especially after we found this. A consumer-created mini-figure proposal.
Lego is one of our clients and it’s great to see consumers leveraging the brand’s creativity to spread the Valentine’s Day message.

…and I want to go here.
Check out these amazing pictures. Note to self, stop getting Cool Hunter during the winter.

My design porn habit is getting worse with the lovely Dezeen landing in my inbox reguarly. There’s so much I loved about this ‘issue’ but especially Reflections at Keppel Bay, Singapore by Daniel Leibeskind.
Visually I thought they were amazing and innovative. Not sure how practical or durable they will be in the monsoon.

I was reading the Evening Standard last week and stumbled across a teeny tiny article that caught my attention.
Here’s the story: Damien Hirst decided that anyone out there should have the opportunity to become the proud owner of one of his artworks. Yes, even the average Joe. So, the artist set up a competition whereby whomever visits each of the 11 Gagosian Galleries around the world where he is currently exhibiting will have a chance to win an original artwork. Oh, and the tour must be completed in 1 month.
A very clever boy, 22, from East London, decided to take on the challenge. He set up a campaign whereby whomever is interested in owning an original Hirst, and doesn’t mind sharing, needs to donate £20 to contribute to the £10k pot to make the trip. More…
